Servicing
Modern cars have a recommended service interval that is laid out in the vehicle's handbook. Regular servicing of the vehicle ensures the best performance and that the engine is running at optimum efficiency.
Levels of service vary as most cars have major and minor service intervals and prices vary depending on the vehicle and type of service. With the removal of block exemption, warranties on vehicles are not affected as long as the correct parts are used regardless of which garage has undertaken the work. Servicing of new vehicles is no longer the sole preserve of the main dealer.
